"To get what you want, help others get what they want."

I cut my teeth in sales, selling Cutco Cutlery to anyone and everyone, four years selling knives laid the foundation to which I credit much of my success. I gained confidence, learned to take responsibility for my own success and most importantly I developed a belief that anything is possible.

In 2004, in search of my next challenge, a friend suggested I’d excel in commercial real estate brokerage. Once in brokerage, I realized the role that real estate investing played in creating wealth for my clients, and knew commercial real estate was where I wanted to build my career. Investing in real estate is a long game which means relationships with clients are an investment over years and decades. I’ve always had the attitude that if I put my clients first and they were successful, I would succeed as well, and this mindset has proven true over nearly two decades.

After years of listening to our clients, my long-time business partner, Casey Zejdlik, and I realized there were gaps in the industry, which led us to create Pilot Ventures and Pilot Property Management in 2017 to provide not only brokerage services but also property management for active investors and syndicated investments for passive investors. Now, joining our brokerage services with CPX, we can provide an even greater level of resources and opportunities for our clients.

I believe working hard and playing hard are a continual cycle that feed off each other. When I’m not working you can find me spending time with my wife and two boys doing one of our favorite activities - relaxing in Suncadia, skiing in the Northwest, or exploring in our RV. Around town you can often find me at Seahawks games or slicing drives on the golf course.

To get what you want, help others get what they want.
